Ultimate Reality, ‘UR’ = totalitas, perseptual dan konseptual

• UR qua substance : – The brain is instrumental in self’s consciousness of

the world; vision is ‘a construction’ in a medium (brain) through which we see the world; Neural processes are concatenations of causal links across space and time. They do not reach into the non-spatial dimension that houses the self.

that is “perpendicular” (orthogonal) to space; The self seeing (observing) the brain that is observing the world through ‘a brain’. The perceiving self is therefore neither constituted by nor causally related to neural processes.
