There are not many people doing this but when you think of it, it really is a great source of traffic. The idea is to have a link to your website posted on other high traffic sites, by leaving a review and adding a little twist to it :-) You do not need to buy anything specifically for this – what you need to do is just take products you have already bought some time ago, and write a simple review for them. It works this way: you buy a product that you can demonstrate in some way. For example – you buy a plugin for a website and that plugin makes your website layout nicer. Or, you buy some milk shake (or diet program) that should help in weight loss, and by consuming that milk shake (or, following that diet), you drop 12 pounds. Before you do anything, you need to make sure you have some kind of proof of using that product: this can be some page on your website where people would see that plugin functionality, or these could be pictures of you with some pounds lost after following the diet. Now, you need to make a SIMPLE page showing the result, and save the URL of that page on a notepad. Now, you will need to post a simple review. If that is a WSO product, you would just go to a WSO thread and leave a review – be honest with your review, just say what you really think of that product, you do not need to rate is as the best if it is not so – just be fair. In the review, after writing a couple of sentences of what you like or dislike about the product, you would need to write something like this: “I have applied this plugin/strategy on my website, and you can see it in action on my website here – http://LinkToYourWebsite.com”. For a diet, you would write something like this: “I have followed this diet for xy days, and I have dropped xyz pounds – if you would like to see my before and after pictures, take a look at my website here: http://LinkToyourWebsite.com”. You would adjust the text to suit the real situation and the product. If that was not a WSO, but a sales page on a website, you would contact the website/product owner saying them that you have written a great review for their product, and would love to have it added on their website. Most of these people will actually add it in, cause it helps them to sell their product! Now, just think of the possibilities with reviews for various products on Amazon! This is free, targeted traffic, and the people will LOVE you sharing your experience and results! It works in all niches, and all you need to do is just take some of the products you have purchased recently, and spend a little time on writing a review for them!
