Create a hemisphere shape from the create menu…

From the drop down list select a texture and click ok to change the texture of the

Create a ring shape, edit the size to change the shape…

Align the disk shape so that it sits perfectly in the center of the ring…

Once the disk is aligned in the center of the ring Hold shift and click the ring to select

both objects, Click the link button…

edge to edge…
