More and more everyday, people from all around the globe are independently creating their own videos.

35 hours of footage is uploaded to YouTube every minute!

I am going to explain the process so you can make your own videos to share around the world for millions to see.

Acquiring a camera nowadays isn’t all that difficult. You don’t need to go out and buy a fancy $3000

camera to get productive.

There are camera’s on every piece of technology today. The phone/iPod in your pocket or purse can probably shoot video. Most smaller digital camera’s can shoot video. Most laptop’s have camera’s as well. And the picture quality is getting better and better everyday. The same goes for computer’s, you can use any kind. You can even use the computers in the Apple

store to work on something, I’m sure they wouldn’t mind.

You can find trials for most of these. Once all material’s are acquired, it’s finally time to film!

Go out and film whatever you like- your dog, your cat, your car, anything that interests you.

You could also download a clip from the internet to use in your project.

Pro TipsPro Tips

Make sure your camera’s charged and you have space on your tapes/memory cards.

Depending on your goal, you can do quite a few things with video cameras.

Bring a friend with you for extra help.

Film in quiet and well-lit areas for the best quality.

Shoot more footage than you require so when editing, you have what footage you need.

After you have some footage, it’s time to edit your clips!

Open your video editing application and import your video clips.

Next, put your clips into the timeline and start editing!

You can add music, special effects, transitions and text after you chop up your clips.

Connect your camera to your computer.
