ManualExtract Email Addresses from Gmail Messages

This is the premium version of the Google Script that extracts addresses from message headers andthe message body.

Step 1Click the link to create a copy of the Google sheet in your Google Drive.

Step 2Enter the name of the Gmail label from which you wish to extract email addresses. For instance,enter inbox to extract mails from only your inbox, enter sent to process mails in the sent folder, or allif you wish to process your entire mailbox.

Remember that Gmail label names are case sensitive.



Step 3From the Gmail Addresses menu, choose Initialize.



Step 4Google will now require you to authorize the script. Click OK.



Step 5Click Accept as the Request for Permissions dialog. The script basically need to connect to yourGmail account to extract address and thus requires permission. You data is only available to thesheet in your own Google Drive and not shared with anyone else.



Step 6Go to the Gmail Addresses menu again and click Start to begin the extraction process. You canclose the Google sheet now.



Step 7Once the extraction process is complete, you'll get an email with a link to the Google sheet. Clickthat link.



Step 8Click the Gmail Addresses Menu and choose Remove duplicate to clean up the list. The final list willnow be available in Column B.
