Description:This module enables Magento shop operators to attach additional file attachments such as images, video files or pdf files to a product in a fast and simple way. These can be activated and operated separately for the various store views.You can find further information about ProductAttachment Extension at:extensions.cartware.de/magento/cartware_productattachment

Installation:You receive our extension as a .tar.gz archive file. To install the module, unpack it and copy the content recursively in the Magento instance. This means you add files to existing folders. Do not override this folders, just add the module data.

Product video:We have attached a short product video in addition to this instruction manual, where we explain the handling of our module. You can find it in the folder „Product Video“ named „CW_ProductAttachment.mov“ or online on our Youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/Cartware.

Configuration:To configure your newly acquired Cartware_ProductAttachment module, please proceed as follows:

• Login to your Magento backend• Go to System --> Configuration

• Switch to tab Cartware --> ProductAttachment

• Default settings of the module are preset as follows:

• Placing attachments is already possible, but if you want to arrange your attachments in different „categories“ (e.g. like exposé, sound or something else), you first have to enable the attribute set-tings:

• Now click the button „Add Attribute“, set an identifier and a label and save the configuration:

• Once the attribute is saved, you can use it in the backend:

• Switch to Catalog --> Manage products

• Now select the item you want to edit and switch to tab Attachments then:

• You can upload your additional attachments now:

• Name your files...

• ...change the sorting...

• ...or delete attachments...

• Now select the „Exclude“ checkbox and save:

• It is possible to disable attachments for each store view. Change the view to e. g. English:

• Here, for example, the Picture-Testfile is disabled in the backend for the english store view and therefore it is not shown in the frontend, only in the english store view.

• If the attribute option is activated and attributes are defined, you can use them for your products:

• Please keep in mind, that attachments you don not assume to a attribute, would not be available in the frontend.
