What is a feature group

▪ Feature Group contains the family of features which should be related to

different products of the same category

▪ For example ‘Smart phone’ group which contains features like expandable

memory, long battery life etc. These are some of the common features of

smart phones like blackberry, iPhone etc

▪ So when you add blackberry as a new product, you just need to add the

‘Smart phone’ group instead of adding its individual features



▪ Add multiple features to your new product ‘blackberry’ in one go with the

help of ‘smart phone’ group

WITHOUT feature group, add each feature individually

▪ Log in to your site admin panel with your user name and id

▪ Click on ‘Manage’ tab and select ‘Product Features’ option

▪ This will direct you to 'Manage your features’ page

▪ Click on ‘Create a new group’ link placed in the right panel to fill the new

group information

▪ Now you are on ‘search and select’ page where you need to fill

information related to new feature group

▪ It includes two field group name and group features

▪ Enter the group name which should give clue about the products it should

be associated with

▪ For example ‘T-shirt’ group for products like polo t-shirt, collared t-shirt

one group

▪ For example for ‘Smart phone’ group, select features which are common

▪ Selected features will get display in the ‘Selected features’ textbox

▪ Features already added will be displayed with tick icon and will also

appear in the list of selected features

▪ Click on ‘Save & Exit’ to save the filled information and exit from the

process after completion

▪ Click on ‘ ’ to exist from the process without saving filled information

▪ You can anytime add or remove features to a group by selecting edit from

manage your features page

▪ Add features in a group which should be similar to many products
