Most of the people who answered the questionnaire are female (with 23 females answering the questionnaire) so all the results will be based around female preferences and choices. There were 5 males that answered the questionnaire so they’re preferences and choices won’t be as input as the female answers. However the male choices are still as important as the others because they could make the difference between pasta being a more popular dish rather than lasagne. When we filter the results out we can see all the female choices

When we filter the results out we can see all the female choices separate from the male choices. This helps figure out what different sex’s prefer, if there is any difference at all.

This graph shows us that only one person out of 28 people are vegetarian. By filtering the results we can find out that the one vegetarian who answered the questionnaire is an 18 year old female.Filtering the results again also shows that 100% of the males that answered are not vegetarian. This could make our recipe cards to be aimed at men to let them try vegetarian food and enjoy it, maybe, in the end, turning them into vegetarians.

This result shows that seventeen out of twenty eight people prefer simple dishes rather than cultural, exotic dishes. This could be because most of the people who answered the questionnaire were students (ages 16-19) so they would be looking for quick and simple dishes to make. Filtering the results, this theory is confirmed along with the fact that fourteen out of twenty three females and three out of five males prefer simple dishes.

These graphs/charts show what the people who did the questionnaire would like to see on the recipe cards and how they would like the recipe card to be set out. This will help us to set out the recipe cards, choose methods of steps (either using step by step pictures or step by step words). It also determines if people want a big picture on the front or if they want little pictures throughout. Another thing it would help us decide upon is the use of colour (whether to use lots, colours that fit with the recipe or not a lot of colour etc).
