easy to use, and super viral, making it the perfect marketing tool for jewelry businesses. This

is an excellent platform for engaging your audience and connecting with jewelry buyers

online.

Online marketing is the biggest arena with which every individual and business is concerned.

A smart breakthrough in this field can be achieved through Pinterest. It is an amazing website

Pinterest and Etsy work extremely well together because they’re both highly visual sites.

Because jewelry is very visual, these sites are perfect for any jewelry business to use in

cooperation. You can pin your jewelry pictures on Pinterest and then go on to close the sale

through Etsy.

Creating an Etsy Account

Registration on Etsy is easy and free. You simply go to etsy.com and click register, fill in the

necessary information, and wait for account confirmation. Once your account is confirmed,

you can make purchases, add items to your favorites, use Etsy’s on-site messaging system

(Conversations), and post in the community. The form fields you’re required to fill out vary

on Etsy from a lot of other sites, so let’s take a look at these step-by-step. Your first and last

name are optional on Etsy; if you do fill them in, they will be publicly displayed.

Next, you’ll need to fill out a unique email address to use for Etsy notifications and updates.

Please note that certain email providers like Gmail allow extra punctuation in their email

addresses like periods. To register on Etsy, these punctuation marks need to be removed;

however, in the case of Gmail, you will still receive your emails as they are considered the

same.

Your password should be at least six characters and you should be able to remember it easily

without it being too obvious. I recommend writing it down for your records just in case.

Your username cannot be changed later, so choose one you’re comfortable with using

indefinitely. You can use your business name for this – your username and first and last

names identify you as a real person on Etsy. Your username should be between four and 20

characters long and can contain letters and numbers. They cannot contain spaces, symbols,

the word “Etsy,” or language that could be considered profane or racist.

Once you register, you should receive a confirmation email within a few minutes. Click on

the confirm button or link within the email to complete your account registration and activate

your account.

If you don’t receive your confirmation email within an hour, I recommend checking your

spam or junk folder and, if it’s there, mark it as not junk or not spam so you don’t have issues

receiving emails from them in the future.

Once you’re registered, it’s a good idea to sign in and create your profile as well as upload a

profile image. If you’re going to sell your handmade jewelry on the site, click on “Sell” at the

top of the page.

Of course, if you have any trouble with anything, Etsy has a great help and support system,

so contacting them with questions is a good idea if you find yourself stumped.

Keep in mind that people are likely to share images that signify something to them – like a

lifestyle. Buying and wearing high quality jewelry is a lifestyle, so it’s all about connecting
