Basic Competitor Analysis
• What your competition is using to get on first page listing on search engines
• Enter the keywords you researched on google to see what companies are already ranking on the 1st page results.
• Analyze what these companies are using in the titles and meta descriptions and the url of the page.
• Next start looking into the pages more indepth that are ranking- are they using the keywords in the heading tags H1, H2, H3 etc, how often are they using the keyword phrases throughout the body's paragraphs
• Are they using any of these keyword phrases in bold text or as a hyperlink or sometimes called anchor text link
