• Our most valued asset• It is impossible to quit the gym – super easy

to quit SHPE• People do not like doing taxes each year, why

would they like to re-new each year?

• So much effort to gain that single member – fix the problem and apply energy towards new initiatives

• Circumvent oneSHPE difficulties• Paypal payment option and auto-renewal• Not everyone was a SHPE member in college

• Twitter and Blog’s seem to improve how searchable and discoverable the chapter is

• Communication should be concise, have ‘sign-off’, typo-free, and provide metrics/reporting

• Leverage the ‘connectors’ in your organization and leadership

• Having HR representatives is not a pre-requisite for having career opportunities for participants
