Tochitura moldoveneasca with polenta

For 4 persons

500 g pork leg500 g smoked sausages350 g smoked bacon3-4 spoons with oil3 onions7 garlic clovessalt and pepperbay leaves

Preparation:

Place lard in pot for melting (or heat the oil), add bacon and chopped pork leg and leave it a few minutes until the bacon begins to melt; Add water, enough to containan all the ingredients and let them continue to boil. After

30 minutes add the chopped sausages and smoked bacon; If the water drops,more water is added and left to boil until it evaporates and only the

oil remains in the pot and the meat turns brown;Finally, cut the onion and the garlic in small slices and add them to the pot, leave them

10 minutes longer.

We add sheep cheese over the tochitura.

Polenta

250 ml. water, 1-2 cups flour corn, 2 teaspoons salt.Boil water and salt in a bowl. When the water boils, add corn flour gradually, while stirring with a whisk. When the mixture is quite thick, though still fluid, stop adding corn flour. Continue to mix for another 10-15 minutes.Remove from stove and serve hot with favorite dish.
