1. Do the work.

We are a lot alike, you and I.

We are just trying to take care of ourselves AND take care of others!

Those sometimes opposing objectives make it hard for us to look as beautiful as we'd like!

It was SO MUCH HARDER for me to lose my post-baby weight this time!

All the things I did to lose weight after babies one, two, three, four, five and six weren't working.

I had to do something radically different this time.

I had to dig deep into my thoughts and see if I was holding myself back.

One thing I figured out was that I had a stress induced hormone imbalance (cortisol) that:

increased my desire for sweets made my body actually hold on to weight

I decided to:

cut back on all my activities put my feet up to take naps and go to bed earlier

And guess what?

I felt completely different.

I had more energy.

My body relaxed, and it started to let go of the weight!

The result is that I lost 17 pounds in eight weeks without exercising!

This is just one of the really different things I did to lose weight.

Things you don't hear about that often.

Things I had to uncover and test myself.

These ideas center around finding what

works for YOU, not for me, or anyone else.

Here are the steps I took! We will walk through

1.

The first step is to think about how

you

want to look and feel.

This is personal to

you and

your goals, and will be the

motivation,

inspiration,

and fuel to get

you to the final,

best version of you, ever.

But what if you've never felt or looked as good as you've wanted to?

The answer is to dream up a NEW you.

Close Your Eyes...

If there is one piece of advice you take away today:

Do not let anyone or anything ever limit you again.

Ever.

Not even your past self.

You may hit a road-block when you think about a life you want.

You may be completely blocked by old beliefs.

I will show you how to move past them!

The next thing I want you to do is:

observe and

challenge

your self-limiting thoughts.

To do this:

write down every thought

that tells you

that you can't be

exactly

who you are intended to be.

These thoughts usually, but not always, begin with the word "but" and sound something like this, "but it's harder the older you get!"

AHA

It's time to lose your buts.

Some more examples, and how to challenge them:

"Nothing has worked for me in the past."

"I've always been fat."

"I'm too tired."

Now,

what hasn't worked

for you?

Every weight loss "failure" has given you valuable information on what doesn't work for

you.

You didn't fail, the program wasn't right for you.

It failed you and now we will find one that serves you better.

You'll want to write down anything you've done that hasn't worked for you.

This can be anything from eating grapefruit all day to counting calories.

If it didn't work, it didn't work, plain and simple.

Get clear

on what you need

to ENJOY your weight loss journey!

Yes!!

Don't let anyone tell you their way is

your best way. NMPO

How to find

your

weight loss style.

You will do this by doing something no weight loss program ever asks you to do.

Demand that your plan includes:

a) what you must eat no matter what

A b) the elements you need to succeed.

You may need to be able to

eat dessert before your dinner,

have butter on your popcorn,

or eat lobster H your kids.

Write down your food must-haves.

Do you like fat? Protein? Carbs?

Do you want people around you to support you?

Or do you prefer an anonymous online program?

Do you want an app on your phone to keep track of everything?

MGetting rewards?

MJoining a support group?

MGoing out to eat more?

MLearning to cook?

MBuilding belief in yourself?

ANow let me tell you why I want to get fit.

First and foremost:

muscle burns more calories

than fat Athe more muscle you have, the more fat you are burning, even while you sleep.

You can reverse the

aging process.

Many people believe that it is harder to lose weight when we get older.

This is only true if you lose muscle due to inactivity.

Maintain your muscle and you will burn calories like you did when you were younger!

Next, building strength makes you feel strong.

When you re-arrange the living room by yourself,

you feel great.

Powerful.

Remember the vision of who you'll be?

Which type of exercise will help you get there?

I want you to really think about C types of exercise you hate, first.

Because you know what? You don't have to do them!

Next, what do you enjoy?

People often like to start H walking because walking is relaxing, which equals happiness, right off the bat.

Ldo you want to work out with a friend, or alone?

Ldo you want a group class?

Lwould you like a trainer to help you every step of the way?

Lwould you prefer to work out with a video at home?

Llisten to your favorite podcast or music while you walk?

Lexercise in the morning, during lunch, or at night?

Lare you competitive?

Ldo you like team sports?

Lare you a beginner who is afraid of injury?

The most effective program is the one you will stick with.

Next I used cinnamon!

Cinnamon helps to increase lean mass while decreasing body fat.

And it may help limit increases in blood sugar.

I began by taking pills, but my stepmom brought me some pure, potent cinnamon on her last visit, so now I use it in my coffee each

day. Yum!

Another supplement I used was turmeric.

Turmeric helps weight loss by reducing adipose (fat) tissue weigh gain.

Pretty amazing, huh?

Don't forget Cayenne Pepper!

Use it on everything to speed metabolism!
