company specializing in regulatory approvals consultation in Malaysia, for obtaining import permit licenses for communication & electrical products
¨ Since end of 2011, there had been increased in demand requesting our assistance to obtained JAKIM halal certification
¨ Since then, we expand our business by offering the service to cater the needs
¨ At present, we already assist about 35 premises, including Pelita Nasi Kandar, Makbul Restaurant, etc. to name a few

¤ We use MS 1500:2009 for Halal Food and JAKIM Manual Procedure as our general reference
¤ We also use MS 2200:2008 for Muslim applied goods, MS 2424:2011 for Halal Pharmaceuticals, MS 2400-1, 2 & 3:2010 for Halalan Toyyiban (logistic)
¤ Technically, we also refer to other food and manufacturing safety guides to ensure our reliability
¨ We collect evidences while auditing client’s premise, at the same time, conducting mocked-up audit, for the client to experienced JAKIM audit beforehand
¨ However, clients will be advised, guided and exposed to the real meaning behind halal before JAKIM audit
¨ Our service are hopefully will educate our clients far beyond the halal paper certificate

¨ As the appointed consultant for Pelita, we are as well disturbed by the rumors as we are very sure that Pelita gave their full support and commitment for this Halal certification project.
¨ To defend allegation made to Pelita, we hold a press conference explaining the real situation and post the statement in all our publicity channels.
¨ As a professional consultant, our service extended to correcting rumors tainting our clients reputation and standing by the fact.
Pelita Samudera Pertama (Pelita Nasi Kandar) Remedies
¨ Being the first nasi kandar restaurant in Malaysia awarded with halal certification, does not excuse Pelita Nasi Kandar from unwanted highlight in 2012.
¨ Malaysian-mamak-food-lover was shocked with rumors saying the halal certification awarded as mocked, and Pelita does not deserve to be certified because one of the shareholder is non-Muslim.
¨ Although Pelita denied, the rumors was merciless, causing sales drop for all outlets all over Malaysia and tainted Pelita’s reputation.
