behalf of a Libyan trader to prove their financial capability to purchase
drilling rigs from a US exporter.
Problem: The Trader Required BCL Bank
A Oil and Gas Company in Libya decided to maximize their
production process to meet the emerging oil demands.
They decided to purchase drilling oil rigs to expand their
business and started searching for rig exporters and chosen
the reliable supplier from USA.
The supplier is ready to supply the required machineries,
but they required Bank Comfort Letter from the buyer to
verify their financial eligibility to procure the material.
Challenge: Avail BCL from Trade Finance Providers
The Libyan trader started looking for the ways to avail BCL
MT799 on behalf of their company.
Since they were facing few financial constraints, the bank
declined their request. And, when they approached the
private lenders, almost all asked for cash margin to issue
the BCL.

instructed our bank to issue the BCL to the supplier’s bank via

With the issuance of BCL, the buyer affirmed the supplier that they have the enough funds or credit lines to purchase the machineries as per the contract. Finally, the supplier & the buyer signed the contract & the deal proceed to the next step successfully!
