INTRODUCTIONBiman Bangladesh Airlines, is the national flag carrier airline of Bangladesh.The airline provides international passenger and cargo services to Asia and Europe, as well as major domestic routes inside Bangladesh. It has air service agreements with 42 countries and currently flies to 16 different countries.
HISTORY
On 4 February 1972, Biman started its domestic services, initially linking Dhaka with Chittagong, Jessore and Sylhet, using a single Doglas DC-3 acquired from India. Biman Bangladesh Airlines was established on 4 January 1972 as Bangladesh's national airline.

IN-FLIGHT EMINITIES
Every aircraft of “Biman” is equipped with modern in-flight entertainment. Every seat is fitted with personal touch LCD screen displays. It is loaded with movies, songs and games. It is in two languages – English and Bengali.

However, the carrier has air service agreements with 43 countries.

Biman Flight Catering Center (BFCC) earns around tk 10 crore profit in a year. Apart from supplying food to Biman Bangladesh Airlines BFCC gets casual order from all 18 international airlines operating in Bangladesh. On average, the five foreign airlines take 25000 meals daily.
