If you have a jet ski you also need a floating dock You may be the proud owner of a terrific new Jet Ski you bought from a friend, an online advertisement or because you fell in love with it when you saw the “for sale” sign, but that is just the start of it. There are a few other things you really need to buy to make a good experience even better. In order to make your whole jet ski experience much easier you also need to purchase a floating dock. While you may or may not have heard of these rather ingenious pieces of equipment before, you’ll want to read this to keep your new jet ski in mint condition. So what is it and what does it do? You simply drive onto the dock and the water surrounding the jet ski is then drained away so there is less wear and tear from being submerged then constant cleaning. You don’t have to keep applying anti-fouling agents because the jet ski has a second ‘skin’ to protect it from the water. Some of these docks are a tight squeeze for the larger types of jet ski but will still hold them safely, some people prefer to buy a larger dock that they can walk right around making maintenance and cleaning even easier. You may be the proud owner of a terrific new Jet Ski you bought from a friend, an online

advertisement or because you fell in love with it when you saw the “for sale” sign, but that is

just the start of it. There are a few other things you really need to buy to make a good experience

even better.

In order to make your whole jet ski experience much easier you also need to purchase a floating

dock. While you may or may not have heard of these rather ingenious pieces of equipment

before, you’ll want to read this to keep your new jet ski in mint condition.

So what is it and what does it do?

These provide a dry dock berth space for your jet ski (they are also available in different sizes

for boats) which can make maintaining, transporting, cleaning and caring for your vessel a whole

lot easier.

You simply drive onto the dock and the water surrounding the jet ski is then drained away so

there is less wear and tear from being submerged then constant cleaning. You don’t have to

keep applying anti-fouling agents because the jet ski has a second ‘skin’ to protect it from

the water.

Some of these docks are a tight squeeze for the larger types of jet ski but will still hold them

safely, some people prefer to buy a larger dock that they can walk right around making

maintenance and cleaning even easier. Once on the dock your jet ski is essentially dry docked

at water level, then you can clean it or cover it over with a tarp to keep it in good condition or

just sit looking at it and take a few photos of your new water-going toy.

It can be a little bit tricky if you do not have this essential piece of equipment. While these

docks are not exactly essential you can bet your bottom dollar that anybody who has one will say

that they would never try to look after their watercraft without one.

Jet skis are supposed to be fun; in fact they are incredible fun. There is no other better way to
