FittingsAll fittings used are 316 marine grade stainless steel includ-ing post attachment points, turnbuckles to tension the sail and d-rings in the corners of the sail. This prevents the cor-rosion problems seen with gal-vanised fittings.

FabricWe use high quality, heavy-duty knitted shadecloth designed for use in shade sails and shade structures. We source from an industry leading supplier. Our shadecloth incorporates the best UV stabilisers and provides maximum protection against heat & harmful UV rays. Available in a wide choice of colours.

Also available is a range of waterproof fabrics.

High tenacity, U.V. stabilized polyester webbing in all edges. For extra U.V. protection the edge webbing's are completely enclosed by folding the material around the webbing. All seams are triple stitched using tenarathread.

ThreadWe use tenara teflon thread. Tenara thread contains pure ex-panded PTFE (Polytetrafluo-roethylene). It is weather and fade resistant, making it ideal for use in shade sails. NASA even used GORE PTFE fibres in their spacesuits!
