apply for a Police Check:

• Police checks may be submitted

through CrimTrac accredited

organisations

• Police Checks may be submitted

through an Australian police

agency in your state of residence

• Regardless of which way you apply

for a police check, all accredited

organisations have been approved by

CrimTrac AND the local state police

agency to access the National Police

Checking System.

So what does this mean in plain English? The results of a national police check will be the same regardless of

whether you apply through a CrimTrac accredited broker or a state police agency.

the Department of Immigration and Border Protection.
