Logistics Academy (LogisticsAcademy.org) is an Online Freight
Broker and Freight Agent Training School. Learn how you can get started
by visiting our website, the outlook for the transportation industry is bright!
A new report released by American Trucking Associations (ATA) in July of
2015 projects freight volumes will increase by nearly 29% over the
next 11 years. “The outlook for all modes of freight transportation
remains bright,” said ATA Chief Economist Bob Costello in releasing U.S.
Freight Transportation Forecast to 2026. “Continued population growth,
expansion of the energy sector and foreign trade will boost trucking,
intermodal rail, and pipeline shipments in particular.” Keep up with the
industry trends; start expanding your business, hiring agents, and
brokering more freight. The transportation industry is not going anywhere!
So whether you're a broker, related business owner, or logistics professional
in general, rest assured knowing we are all playing a role in something BIG.
Understanding this industry with PROPER TRAINING and education is
crucial in taking the first step in being successful here.
Active Brokers
The number of active Freight Brokerages is increasing right
before your very own eyes! Before the MAP-21 Act passed in October
of 2013 (remember the bond increase from $10,000 to $75,000?), there
were 21,000 ACTIVE broker authorities but when the law passed 8,000
brokers deactivated their authority, leaving 13,000 brokers (and their
agents) in a sea of newly available freight. 2 years later, there are now
+14,000 active brokers and counting.
Train the Inexperienced
With more people constantly entering the market, brokers today
should be taking on as many new qualified agents as possible. Stop
turning down people who don't have "experience" AND TRAIN THEM! The
barrier to enter the market as a Freight Broker is not high at all (it's a cheap
business for any Tom Dick and Harry to start) when you consider the
income potential if you execute a successful business model. Turning
interested people down at the door is inevitably going to create more
competition for your business. Spend the next year adding agents to your
brokerage so that you can start creating a constant stream of residual
income for yourself. Think about how happy you'll be at this time next year,
simply because you took the time to successfully grown your company (and
income).
Fortunately for you brokers out there, we offer unlimited
training for Agents FOR NO EXTRA PRICE! That's just how we role. Let
Logistics Academy help you grow your Freight Brokerage faster than ever
before the year ends.
