In May 2015 I conducted a study of books published in Amazon. I found it to be whopping 89,000 books - nearly 3000 books a day !

One Percent

Only one percent of books published in Amazon make money.

To succeed in publishing……

1. Niche research a must.

2. Producing a lot of books in a particular niche is a must.

3. Promoting the books through websites, social media and through ‘paid promotions’ are a must.

4. Reducing the cost of production is also a must.

If cost of production is brought down money can be spent on promotion which can increase sales and consequently profits.

Best Niche to try out!

One of the best niches to try in publishing is children’s book for the age group of 2-4 years old.

This age group does not need elaborate stories!

But they need good pictures/ Background Images.

If books for this niche can be produced with no cost and less time, then one can earn more………
