We invite anyone interested in joining our Board to sign up at www.relifeinc.org/signup About Re:LIFE Inc Re:LIFE Inc is a Harlem based 501c3 organization established in 2010. Our mission is to empower youth through entrepreneurship and education. Re:LIFE's programs are open to all youth, but we target inner city and low income youths, especially those considered 'at-risk' or 'disconnected'. For us, Education and Entrepreneurship provide a platform that inspires our youths and introduce new realms of opportunities that lead to wealth creation, financial independence and ultimately, personal and societal achievement. The HEROES Model Our programs are based upon the HEROES Model for Youth Development, which we created. HEROES represents Heritage, Education, Relationships, Opportunities, Entrepreneurship, Service. These areas are crucial to effective youth development and empowerment. For more on HEROES, please visit www.heroesmodel.com About UYS URBN Youth Start-UP (UYS) is an intensive project-based entrepreneurship program. This year, we are partnering with The Grove School of Engineering of The City College of New York. UYS Successes UYS is in its second year, and our pioneer class of participants consisted of youths who were formerly incarcerated, homeless, in high school, LGBT, disconnected, among other labels. We are excited and proud of the successes achieved by our graduated students. All our students completed the program with business plans and clear trajectories for the future. All of the students who were either high school dropouts or 'non-engaged' HS graduates did not only pass their GEDs, but ALL secured college admissions for this Fall. They are ALL attending CUNY schools, except for our youngest student, who founded a lacrosse business during the program. He recently graduated from high school and secured a lacrosse scholarship to attend a SUNY college upstate. These, and many more success stories keep us inspired and excited about what we do.
