In 2014-2015 Unitu:Successfully trialled at SOAS and Roehampton University. Has an increasing uptake from students, reps and staff.Enhanced the QA review of the Roehampton Psychology department.Will be launching in several other institutions such as:• Swansea University• Reading University• Bishop Burton College• Pearson College• Greenwich University

Team: Sports Student at a college

An app that outlines the laws of various sports along with technique points allowing the user to analyse their performance.

Take video clips of sports performance and assess against criteria.

Target audience students, coaches and tutors.

SALT: The Student's Academic Literacy ToolUniversity of Teesside

Team: Psychology University Students

Helping aid students in improving the standard of their academic writing at university.

A self-assessment diagnostic tool, that keeps a longitudinal record or improvement and provides tips, hints and peer support.

BrightHub AppYeovil College

The team: students training to be electricians who are seeking apprenticeships.

An app to help apprentice electricians to engage with employers so they can secure an apprenticeship.

The app will integrate subject videos, resource content and peer reviews to allow small employers to identify suitable apprentices.

VoiceItTreloar College

Team: Students and staff at a specialist college

An accessible app for students with special needs to report issues anonymously or give feedback.

The app will be able to report life issues such as bullying, relationships, family etc. which will direct a message to the appropriate support person.

Zone Booking AppSwindon College

Team: Learning Technology Apprentice.

An app to book computers in a college for independent study.

Students are unable to book computers in colleges.

Many colleges don’t have access to suitable software and are seeking a low cost solution.
