FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS
Fewer projects completed within budget and in line with business intent compared with last year’s survey.
There is still a lack of clarity and consensus regarding the role of the PMO with in the organization.
There is a strong difference in perception about the value of Project Management between Senior Execs and PMO Directors.
Not enough projects have the active support of Senior Management.
For each US$ 1 billion invested , there is US$122 million wasted due to poor project performance (12% YOY increase).
71% of Projects reached their goal when Project Management culture is a high priority within the organization.
Only 52% of Projects reached their goal when Project Management culture is a low priority within the organization.
