Water • MLA to ensure:

• That DJB will be compelled to take over water distribution from DDA within six Months (i.e. June 2014). or Else join with residents for indefinite Dharna

• That Dwarka Sub-City (Matiala, Palam, Bijwasan as the case be) get equal water supply with rest of Delhi

• DDA/ DJB shall make available adequate water to residents through tankers without transportation cost till sufficient water is not pumped via pipelines.

• Model 100% water cycling project for Dwarka on pilot basis for the only fully planned sub-city of Delhi :a)    Strengthening of Trunk Sewers of Dwarka

• b)    Regular cleaning including the CGHS/RWA Pocket lines. • c)    Treated water shall be made available for horticulture purposes • Ground Water Protection by Delhi Govt• Encourage RWH

Hospital• MLA to ensure:

• That the construction of 750 Super Specialty Hospital is completed on war footing. Till the time Hospital operational all Health Centre/Clinics of Dwarka by Delhi Government to be upgraded.

• Ayurvedic & Homeopathy Hospitals to be built.

• Primary Health Centers & Dispensaries.  (Existing 2-3 within Dwarka is grossly inadequate)

• Trauma Center (Important) Considering the High Rise Buildings, Air Funnel, Sesmic Zone of prone to Earth Quake a Trauma Centre be planned along with 750 Bed hospital to be proposed by MLA

Sanitation/Toilets• MLA to ensure:

• To build toilet complexes - – Roads/Side Walks (A Must every 2 KM 1 Toilet Complex)– Shopping Complex– In park sides

• Can be under a PPP arrangement or Directly by Government (enough funds available)

• Use latest technology / methods – innovative toilets concepts

• Mechanical Sweeping of roads over 12mtr

• All Safai Karamcharis to report to respective RWA/CGHS of the area.

• Trash Bins for all roads, Markets & BQS

Vegetable & Fruit Mandi

• MLA to ensure:

• Vegetable and Fruit Market

• More Safal Outlets

• To pursue with DDA Board for allotment of Land for complete Veg/Fruit market within Sub-City at a small scale

Garbage Disposal• MLA to ensure:

• Effective ways and means to clear garbage• Door to door collection of garbage in compliance with Municipal

Solid Wastes (Management and Handling) Rules, 2000• 100 % recycle plant for Construction & Demolition (C&D) Waste • Disposal using scientific methods• Segregate biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste • Cleaning / clearing the sewer lines • Keeping roads and by lanes clean• Mechanical Sweeping to roads over 12mtr• Monitor work on daily basis.

Environment Pollution…

• MLA to ensure:

• Solid Waste Management:

• To propose Govt of India to ensure international standard or higher Noise Pollution for IGI Airport.

• The Solid Wastes (Management and Handling) Rules, 2000 must be implemented in letter and spirit. 

• This is Not a state subject but SDMC

• Delhi Govt (MLA to propose Recycling, Small Garbage Disposal Sites near to Dwarka)

• 100% recycle of C&D waste unit to be build in Dwarka funded by Delhi Govt.

Environment Pollution

MLA to ensure:

Noise Pollution:

• Noise Pollution from IGI Airport require urgent attention

• MLA need to make Delhi Assembly to pass Resolution to adopt International standard control norms to be adopted by Ministry of Environment and Min of Civil Aviation.

• Delhi Govt shall make strict rules & penalties for Unauthorized Colonies/ House Construction. Enforcement shall taken from SDMC

Transport• MLA to ensure:

• More DTC routes shall Start & Terminate in Dwarka for all important destination of Delhi/ NCR

• Dwarka should not be used as ‘enroute’ route

• Dwarka depots not to be used as BUS Garage only for other parts of the city (current state)

• Last mile connectivity from various Metro stations

• Circular mini buses among Dwarka Sectors - DTC to provide Mini Battery operated Circular Buses within sectors and connecting Metro and Bus Stations/Depot).

• Parking fee at Metro Linked to Monthly Pass

Traffic Management Roads/Flyovers/ Traffic Signals…

• MLA to ensure:

• Tunnel Road connect sector 8 to IGI T-3 and towards NH-8

• Speed up the proposal of:

– Sector 21/Sector 8 to Pankha road via tunnel road.– IOC Crossing to Dwarka Sector 9 via tunnel road.– Madhu Vihar and Pankha Road via tunnel road.– Speed up the Dwarka Express way project on Delhi side.– Widen the Dwarka Link Road connecting with NH-8– Parellel MPD road from Oil Depot to Bijwasan-Chawla Road as per MPD 2021

• Parellel road along the Railway Track from Bijwasan to Delhi Cantt.

• Convert all Internal Road Signals to ROUND ABOUT as done in NDMC area (peak hour lighted no peak hour self disciplined)

• More speed governors

• Strict enforcement of traffic rules (towing vehicles, traffic violations, wrong-side driving, treble driving on 2-wheelers)

• Declaring busy market places as no parking zones

• Alll service lane to be cycle traffic and skating compatible to promote non motorized traffic

• Strict rules & fines for road encroachment & implementation by DDA/ SDMC

ART & CULTURE

MLA to ensure:

• Delhi Haat for Dwarka• Museum• Art Galleries • Academies’• Theatres• Open Am-pi-theatre  • Coffee Home

• Ruling party shall appoint Dwarka MLA as representative to DDA• Board• Mall/ Cinema/ Multiplexes• Sports Complexes / Auditoriums• ISBT• Diplomatic Enclave• Convention  Hall• Amusement Park• MP Green (Bharat Vanda Park) • Parking• Toilet constructions

LIAISON WITH SDMC

MLA to ensure:

• Toilets• Parking• Solid Waste Management..• Sweeping & Cleaning.• Encroachment• Unauthorized Colonies• Unauthorized House Construction.• Public Libraries• Potable Water Booth• Barat Ghar• Old Age Home• Weekly Hatt

ELECTRICITY & STREET LIGHTS

MLA to ensure:

• All street lights to be taken over from BSES.• Dwarka Sub-City to have at least 2 or 3 Bulk

Electricity Suppliers to be proposed with DERC• Convert all Single Point Electricity Connection

in CGHS to Multi Point.• Common Area Electricity supplies to be treated

as Public Utility rate to be proposed with DERC

EDUCATIONMLA to ensure:

• Central Schools- Large number of School plots under PWD lying vacant- To be handed over to Central School/ Kendriya Vidyala etc.

• All primary school shall be taken over by Delhi Govt from DMC

• All Schools currently run by SDMC to be taken over by Education Department of Delhi Govt.

• Vocational Institutes - Modern SKILL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE be opened in Dwarka

• Free books & stationeryand uniform to poor students

• Hygienic & nutrient mid-day meal in schools

• Sports facilities.

TOURISM MLA to ensure:

• Open Tourist Complex Kanganheri & Water Sports Complex Chawla.

GENERAL• We wish our MLA shall be Good Manager beside Statesman

• Communicate with residents & get feedback. Shall be available for community welfare & grievances

• Raise the questions of Dwarka in house

• Get project Sanctioned

• Implement the projects on time schedule

• Spend the MLALADS in effective manner for welfare of Dwarka residents

• Prepare & share yearly progress card

• Shall not be corrupt.
