Top of the pops

BBC Top of the Pops Magazine, the UK’s biggest selling teen magazine, celebrates the release of its 250th issue today, Wednesday 21st May. The landmark issue includes birthday celebrations with a host of pop stars including The Vamps; Top of the Pop’s latest intern Joey Essex joins the team for some work experience; Britain’s Got Talent’s teen sensation Bailey McConnell on his new-found fame; and One Direction on the cover.

The magazine is also hosting a special 250th issue gig on Wednesday 21st May featuring M.A.D, Fright Club TV, 2012 Britain’s Got Talent finalists Loveable Rogues, The X Factor’s Sam Callahan and four-piece girl band Neon Jungle, in front of a live audience of 160 Top of the Pops Magazine readers who won free ticket for the event. The gig is hosted by CBBC’s Aiden Davis will be streamed live on sugarscape.com from 6pm.
