In celebration of the life of Sharon K. Roberts

Sharon K. Roberts August 2, 1966- June 26, 2015

Sharon was gorgeous inside and out. She had an infectious smile, a contagious laugh, and an ability to light up any room she walked into. Her presence came with joy and laughter. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. It seems so clich, but thats exactly what she was. No matter what role she played in the lives of those who encountered her beautiful soul, Sharon emitted a presence, when coming into someones life, that she would instantly be the best friend and confidant that you could experience in a lifetime. Sharon spoke often of angels being around her. She said they were protecting her, guiding her, and accompanying her throughout her lifes journey. No matter what religion or faith you belonged to, Sharon was so passionate about this that it was impossible to have a single doubt that this was true. Up until the very last day, she spoke of these angels surrounding her, giving her the strength to keep fighting, and the peace within herself to let go and accompany them home in the end.

You left me beautiful memories, your love is still my guide. Though we cannot see you, youre always by my side.

Weve shared so much laughter, Shared so many tears. Weve a spiritual bond That grows stronger each year. Were not sisters by birth, but we knew from the start----God put us together to be sisters by heart.

I didnt give you the gift of love but in my heart I know, the love I feel is deep and real as if it had been so.

For us to have each other is like a dream come true. No, I didnt give you the gift of live, life gave me the gift of you.

Who wears short shorts? Sharon wears short shorts.

Because of you, I laugh a little harder, cry a little less, and smile a lot more.

I love you.

When everything goes to hell, the people who stand by you without flinching---theyre family.

If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane. Id walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

You are with the angels now, It was time to say goodbye.Yet still its hard to hide the Pain, no matter how I try.

For you were such a special Mom With lots of love to share,And knowing youre no Longer here is very hard To bear.

And though the grief will Pass and time will help To heal the pain, Somehow life without you, Mom, will never be the same.

Allis graduation, 2010

If I know what love is..It is because of you.

We loved with a love that was more than love.

Be crazy, be weirdDont be afraidOf what anybody thinks.

She thinks my tractors sexy!

She walks in starlight in another world.

The tans will fade, but the memories will last forever.

It doesnt matter where youre goingIts who you have beside you.

A limb has fallen from the family tree that says grieve not for me. Remember the BEST times, the laughter, the song; the good life I lived while I was strong.

Whatever our souls are made ofHis and mine are the same.

Dont cry because its goneSmile because it happened.

Wherever she goes she leaves a sparkle.

Grandma hold me a little longer, rock me a little more. Tell me another story---youve only told me four. Let me sleep on your shoulder, I love your happy smile. Ill always love you grandma, so stay with me a while.

Our first meeting

Some of the most wonderful people are the ones who dont fit in boxes.

Roman & Grandma

Twinkle, twinkle little star, up in heaven is where you are.

Flying high and twinkling bright, my guiding star, my shining light.

Twinkle, twinkle little star, my perfect angel is what you are, grandma.

The day which we fear as our last is but the birthday of eternity.

Fly high, angel.

God saw you getting tiredAnd a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you And he whispered come to me.With tearful eyes we watched you,We watched you fade away.Although we loved you dearly, We could not make you stay.A golden heart stopped beating, Hard-working hands at rest.God broke our hearts to prove to us, He chose to take the best. Its lonesome her without you,We will miss you more each day. Life doesnt seem the same Since you have gone away. When days are sad and lonely And everything goes wrong, We seem to hear you whisper Cheer up and carry on.Each time we see your pictureYou seem to smile and say, Dont cry, Im in Gods hands, Well meet again someday!
