For this image I used the crop tool to cut out the background and I also edited the hue, saturation and brightness in order to brighten the picture up.

For the main image on my contents page I decided to put it in black and white in order to emphasise the Indie genre. I also added a shadow to make it leap out of the page as this is the image for my main article so I wanted it to stand out against the rest.

Before: After:For these images I decided to create a photo collage with them as typically my target audience of 14 - 17 year old girls like to do this.

For my key photo on the feature article I cropped around it using a mixture of both the polygonal lasso tool and the magnetic lasso tool. I did this as I wanted to be able to use wrap around text with my feature article so make it appear more professional.
