Conclusion

• Advantages Provides timeliness, large pool of audience, relations and

cost advantages. Used for marketing, customer communications, risk

identification and management.

• Disadvantages Two sides of power of social media. Incidents may be quickly transmitted and magnified. Data accessibility, privacy issues, unbalanced age group

coverage, awareness of usage from companies, responsiveness and technical challenges.
