The study found that consumers are becoming increasing concerned about factors such as a company’s sustainability initiatives, social media efforts, tech savvy, where it’s located or how it treats employees. The reputation a company builds on these issues can drive consumer behaviors.”

“There’s no real insurance against “goodwill loss” even if insurance companies do often include this idea! The lessons we have to learn from great brands is that it’s not just how you do “damage control” that sets you apart.
