• Choose the size of your volume. If you’d like to backup this volume to S3, choose the snapshot size you’d like captured



• There are some other inputs/options you need to consider when providing an estimate for

an EC2 instance.

If you want your instance to maintain the

same IP address even after it has stopped or

been terminated, you should use Elastic IP’s.

AWS will charge for Elastic IP’s if they are

not attached to an EC2 instance.

Data transfer into AWS is free, however, data

transfer out of AWS incurs a charge
