In this installment of our Faxination 2016 Video Education series, were going to look at the post-installation procedures that are common to every Faxination deployment. At this point in our video series, we have a baseline installation of the software, and weve demonstrated that we can send an outbound fax via Exchange and receive a notification about the success of failure or the fax transmission.2

A quick look at our Contoso demo environment:

DC01 was our first domain controller and created the Active Directory forest.

EXCHANGE01 is an on-premise installation of Exchange Server 2013.

SQL01 is a high-availability SQL cluster in the environment. In this case its SQL Server 2012, but just about any modern version of SQL can be used.

Well be installing our software on FAXINATION01.

And our telephony system supports T.38 fax-over-IP, so well be pointing our fax-over-IP connector to the IP address of the PBX. This could also be a digital media gateway or a SIP trunk.
