Timer Management System (TMS)

TMS

Handyman TMS is an add-in* which simplifies matters for the user but deepens the information to the office. The add-in is shown as an icon at the bottom of the Handyman main menu and is as easy to use as a stop watch. You start your day by ”punching in”. During the day you don’t finish any tasks but only start new – travels, jobs and breaks. Together all tasks create a sleepless timeline until you ”punch out”. Handyman automatically sends all registrations to the office so that the supervisor is in controll of the day’s activities. In Handyman TMS you get the possibility to adjust settings such as demanding completion of check lists and/or mileage at every or some tasks.

My tasks

On the list containing your data all tasks you need to perform will be collected no matter what order they belong to. The list is sorted by date, status and order and each task can be marked as started, paused, waiting and finished. You can create new tasks which are not linked to an order and the office will see your data and status in the resource planner.

Time and cost registration

Use the built-in stopwatch to simplify the input of time, travel costs, expenses and mileage directly on an order. We also have an add-in - Time Management System (TMS) - which gives you more control over your time recording. You set it in Handyman Office or the existing business system.

Documentation, sound, pictures, drawings & text

Editable photos, Voice recording, drawings, sketches, Excel, Word and PDF-documents can be created and sent to the office together with the order. When taking a picture you can edit it to emphasize and document your work. A photo can also be linked to a checklist. Your opportunities are only limited by your imagination.

In the order list you will find further information about the order as for example maps, prints and the possibility to reject an order. You can also email orders to clients directly from Handyman. In the overview you will quickly find order information such as cost center, objectsm projects, address and quick links to regular functions. Except for the orders belonging to you there is a tab for ”free” (without participants) orders and one for ”internal” orders where you note other hours as vacation or staying at home with for childcare.

Customer database

In your customer database you have the customers that you want to have there. It can either be a subset or all the clients you have current projects at. You can easily create a new client or edit existing tasks straight in your mobile. Each client can have several phone numbers and different contact persons that you can call straight from your customer database. In the client list you have preset functions for phone, email, SMS and GPS-navigation.

Checklists & routines

Checklists is one of the key functions that help create routines and increase the level of service. A basic set of finished check lists are included in installation of Handyman and you can easily create new ones without any previous knowledge in programming. Finished check lists are available for e.g. the electrical, telecommunications, construction, utilities, energy and facilities managment businesses.

GPS, navigation & maps

You can start navigation in several places in Handyman. There are presets in the order list and the customer database where you can with a single click tell that you want to find a client’s location from your current position. This requires that your PDA has a built in GPS and that you have a navigation program installed. Handyman is integrated with the most common navagation programmes on the market such as TomTom Navigator and Google maps.
