The client can be downloaded from the IMLock Cloud website. As part of the installation process, you will be asked to provide your account User ID and Password (if you have one), Or register when you install, this will register your computer on your account, and provide a communication link between your computer and IMLock Cloud. 4. The installer will ask you for your username and password during the install process. This is required to register the IMLock Cloud client with the IMLock Cloud website. If you have forgotten your account number, it is easy to retrieve. Go to IMLock Cloud, and go to the login screen. There is a link to retrieve forgotten passwords. This system allows for a lot of granularity. For example if you block the word "facebook" you will block all titles containing the word, such as www.yahoo.com/facebook.html. If you block the word "facebook.com" you will generally only block pages from the facebook.com domain. 9. They work in the same way. You add the keyword by right clicking the treeview control, and then typing in your keyword or url. A keyword would work to block web titles as well as urls. If you type in an URL with www or http:// it would block titles also, but most titles do not have those character strings. So the more general you make the blocking, facebook as compared to www.facebook.com the more will be blocked. 10. For instance, you may want certain websites to never be blocked, so you would whitelist the domain name, for instance "faceook.com". Whitelisting rules take precedence over blocking rules, so if a keyword is whitelisted, any blocking will be overruled. Whitelisting can be applied to urls as well as domain titles.Whitelist UrlsThe Whitelist URL feature allows you to prevent websites with certain keywords contained in their URLS from being blocked. You have control of granularity with this feature by customizing the keyword. For example, a whitelist keyword of http://www.facebook.com will be more specific than a keyword of facebook, which will block any website containing the word facebooK anywhere in the URL. 17. This makes it a very handy way for IMLock Cloud to categorize sites. You can whitelist any keyword or your company name in order to exclude any sites with these keywords in their titles from being blocked. 18.
