DESCRIPTION
The ascent of “robo-advisors”, or online-only asset management and advisory firms, has caused a stir in the financial advice community. While firms like Wealthfront have quickly gathered assets north of $1 billion, the consensus is that these “robo-advisors” will not make financial advisors extinct. Rather, their prevalence is demonstrating that the need for a human relationship between advisors and investors is greater than ever.
