What input and output devices would you use for the following systems? For what purpose?

a) Tourist information system

Input device

- control devices (mouse,touchpad,touchscreen) -> to control the applications, make a reservation

Output device

- computer screen, screen -> to display output

b) Air traffic control

Input device

- microphone -> to make a connection with the others, communicate

Output device

- speakers -> to receive voice/sound from flight or pilot

c) Classroom/lecturing presentation

Input device

- keyboard -> to entering text into a word processing document. Applications where text has to be created rather than copied.

Output device

- projector -> to display an animation or task to the student

d) Course registration session

Input device

- touchpad -> on laptop computers

Output device

- printers -> to print out the document

e) Food ordering at restaurant

- lists of food order -> type of food by customer own choice

- receipt -> list of food order and bill payment

Compare and tell the differences between Mas Airlines website and Air Asia website interfaces (only on Home page & Booking process). Which one is more “easy to use”? Explain your reasons with print screens (if applicable).

Home Page:

For Malaysia Airline website the location to find or search flight ticket is located at the centre of the website and clearly can be seen by all people. And for Air Asia website, the location to find or search flight ticket is located on the left side of the page, it can be seen clearly but a little bit small if want to compare with Malaysia Airline page.

There is variety of language available in Malaysia Airline website that user can choose, but in Air Asia website user cannot choose what language they want, because English the only language that available in the website.

Booking Process:

Booking Process for Air Asia website if more easier because when user click the destination tab, automatically the webpage will show all route that available on Air Asia company. For Malaysia Airline after user click the destination tab, the route available will be show in small tab below, and user have to scroll down to find their destination. Selection of flight between Malaysia Airline website and Air Asia website are mostly the same, but in Malaysia Airline website, user can choose what currency they want to use, so the price of the ticket will be display in their selected currency.

All of the booking process between Malaysia Airline website and Air Asia are mostly the same both after user has choose their selected flight, all information about their flight will be display of the right side of the website. The payment type for both website are the same, user can pay using credit or debit card.
