Welcome to the Global Watch Weekly Report The 2012 phenomenon comprises a range of eschatological beliefs according to which cataclysmic or transformative events will occur on 21 December 2012. This date is regarded as the end-date of a 5,125-year-long cycle in the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar. Various astronomical alignments and numerological formulae have been proposed as pertaining to this date, though none have been accepted by mainstream scholarship. A New Age interpretation of this transition is that this date marks the start of time in which Earth and its inhabitants may undergo a positive physical or spiritual transformation, and that 2012 may mark the beginning of a new era. Others suggest that the 2012 date marks the end of the world or a similar catastrophe. Scenarios suggested for the end of the world include the arrival of the next solar maximum, or Earth's collision with an object such as a black hole, a passing asteroid, or a planet called "Nibiru". Since coming to notice, the 2012 phenomenon has been discussed or referenced in several media. Several TV documentaries, as well as many contemporary fictional references to the year 2012 refer to 21 December as the day of a cataclysmic event. The History Channel has aired a handful of special series on doomsday that include analysis of 2012 theories, such as Decoding the Past (2005–2007), 2012, End of Days (2006), Last Days on Earth (2006), Seven Signs of the Apocalypse (2007), and Nostradamus 2012 (2008). The Discovery Channel also aired 2012 Apocalypse in 2009, suggesting that massive solar storms, magnetic pole reversal, earthquakes, super volcanoes, and other drastic natural events may occur in 2012. In 2012 the National Geographic Channel launched a show called Doomsday Preppers, a documentary series about people preparing for various cataclysms, including the 2012 doomsday. The bestselling book of 2009, Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol, featured 2012 as a date for an apocalypse and the 2009 disaster film “2012” was inspired by the phenomenon, and advance promotion prior to its release included a stealth marketing campaign in which TV spots and websites from the fictional "Institute for Human Continuity" called on people to prepare for the end of the world. As these promotions did not mention the film itself, many viewers believed them to be real and contacted astronomers in panic. Although the campaign was heavily criticized, the film became one of the most successful of its year, grossing nearly $770 million worldwide.

The disaster movie “2012″ is about the near-total destruction of planet Earth in accordance with predictions made by Ancient Mayans, thousands of years ago. While most of the movie is centered around spectacular explosions and impressive special effects, “2012″ also communicates messages and symbolism about the elite’s plans for a New World and the coming of the Age of Aquarius. Released in 2009, Roland Emmerich’s film 2012 plays on the fears and panic engendered by the “OMG-the-Mayans-said-we’re-gonna-die-in-2012″ scare. The movie’s apocalyptic scenario depicts in vivid detail people’s worst fears regarding 2012: The destruction of everything and the killing of everyone. The movie 2012 contains many Biblical, mythological and historical references that gives the story a deeper underlying meaning. Furthermore, a specific message can be understood by the way the crisis has been handled in the movie. It basically says: “If something happens, the rich and powerful will live and the rest of you will die”. In a previous edition of the Global Watch Weekly we discussed how disaster movies are an important indoctrination tool that present and sell specific “political responses” to major crises. In the movie 2012, the political response to the mega-cataclysm that is threatening Earth is rather unsettling. The world elite learns about 2012 a few years in advance, secretly plans its own rescue mission (while keeping the masses in the dark) and leaves the world to die while creating a new world that is only populated by the elite. A few “regular” people do manage to infiltrate the elite’s ships. Apparently their survival, along with the world’s rich and powerful, constitutes a happy ending.

The movie takes place in 2009 and begins with a cosmic event that triggers the cataclysm: A planetary alignment.

The alignment of astronomical bodies causes a series of events that lead to the destruction of Earth. On an esoteric level, the alignment of astral bodies is representative of the dawning of a new era - what some may call the Age of Aquarius. On Earth, a few scientists discover that massive solar flares are causing the planet’s core temperature to rise. Adrian Helmsley, an American geologist, realizes that the end of the world is rapidly approaching. He rushes to Washington D.C. to inform the highest level of power that action must be taken, but it turns out that the world’s ruling elite is not only well-aware of the coming disaster, but have been secretly working on a rescue plan for years. The elite are taking steps to preserve the lives of those that are deemed “worthy” and collecting the Earth’s most important artifacts to bring to the new world.

In this scene, the Mona Lisa at the Louvre is fake. The real painting will be brought into "post-apocalypse" world. The only people that know about the 2012 rescue plan are the world’s most powerful people. Tickets were also sold to private individuals. The price? 1 billion Euros … per person. In other words, there is no way that a regular person would survive. And that’s all part of the plan. Meanwhile, as usual, the masses are portrayed as a herd of idiots, prone to panic and violence.

This massive conspiracy against the public is not an airtight secret. Some prominent figures discover the ugly truth and attempt to warn the public, but they are rapidly silenced.

When the director of the Louvre discovered the elite's plans, he called a press conference to disclose the truth to the entire world. He then dies in a "mysterious" car accident, right before he makes his announcement. There are interesting facts about the above car “accident” that killed the French museum director. First, it is clearly stated in the movie that the accident occurs in the Pont d’Alma tunnel, the same tunnel where Princess Diana lost her life in a odd car accident. Occult researchers believe there is a symbolic connection with the Pont d’Alma tunnel and how the death of Lady Diana had all of the markings of a ritual sacrifice. The death of the Museum director at the exact same spot might be the movie’s way of saying that his death was a ritual sacrifice by the elite. The movie might also be indirectly saying: “If the death of the Museum Director inside the Pont D’Alma tunnel was a murder disguised as an accident, what do you think happened to Lady Di?”. It is later discovered that the museum director is not the only whistle-blower that has “mysteriously” lost his life. Many other people who had the public’s well-being in mind also died in strange circumstances during the elite’s secret preparations.

All of the elite’s decision-making is done in secret and secluded meetings and involving only the world’s most powerful people. While all of this is happening, the Chinese government has been put in charge of building the gigantic boats named “Arks” that would allow the elite to survive 2012.

As it is the case in most disaster movies, the masses are portrayed as a "bewildered herd" that cannot act civilized. While the elite is planning its secret escape from the 2012 cataclysm, the masses are shown rioting to the point that the London Olympics are suspended. Is the movie predicting events to come? INTRODUCTION TO ATLANTIS The hero of the movie is Jackson Curtis, a regular divorced father, that discovers the truth and attempts to embark on one of the Arks in order to survive 2012. Jackson Curtis is a not-too-successful writer of a book entitled Farewell Atlantis, which is very symbolic in the movie’s context. Atlantis is the name of a fabled continent that got submerged by a massive flood several millenia ago. Legend holds that the highly advanced civilization that flourished on that continent disappeared, but some survivors of Atlantis managed to sail to places like Egypt, America and Asia, where they became great teachers to the natives. Atlantis is of a great importance in the occult elite’s Mysteries as it is believed that the continent actually existed and was the origin of the world’s occult knowledge. Atlanteans who sailed to far-away lands in order escape the Great Flood are considered the teachers of esoteric knowledge to the Ancient Egyptians, Mayans and possibly even the Celts. Mystery schools often state that the Biblical story of the Great Flood is, in fact, the story of the disappearance of Atlantis. They also claim that many other ancient cultures have similar stories

within their folklore. Today’s secret societies perceive and refer to America as the “New Atlantis”, a country that was founded on the principles of Freemasonry and Rosicrucianism, the supposed descendants of Atlantean Mysteries.

Francis Bacon's 1605 book "New Atlantis" describes an ideal society where science and reason would rule, according the principles of Freemasonry and Rosicrucianism. The book is said to be the blueprint of the founding of America. Bacon is known for writing "Knowledge is Power", a famous phrases that has deep

resonance in Rosicrucianism and that is prominently featured in the US Library of Congress. While Sir Francis Bacon’s New Atlantis appeared to be foreshadowing the founding of America, Jackson Curtis’ novel Farewell Atlantis appears to be foreshadowing its destruction. The same way Atlantis was completely submerged by water, America, the home base today’s occult elite, will suffer a similar fate. The lucky few that will embark in a modern version of Noah’s Ark will be given the task to found a New World – and the movie subtly states which institutions will carry on and which will disappear. As the film progresses, the Earth begins to heat up and fissures start to appear in Los Angeles. Although it is obvious that a major disaster is about to happen, mass media (which is in collusion with the elite, in the movie and in real life) downplays everything in order to keep the population calm and oblivious to the fact that the world is ending.

The only non-elite guy that appears to know what’s going on is a nut-job conspiracy theorist living in the woods (apparently, according to Hollywood movies, truth seekers cannot be level-headed, rational people). Charlie Frost describes everything that is about to happen to Jackson Curtis and even provides him a map to the Arks. As the world is crumbling apart, members of the elite receive an important and top-secret message on their mobile phones.

When disaster breaks loose on earth, several important monuments are shown being destroyed. These scenes are not only spectacular to watch but they also represent the fall of important institutions as the world enters the Age of Aquarius. As usual it is Christian monuments which are at the heart of this symbolism.

In one symbolic scene, a crack appears on Michelangelo's iconic painting in the Sistine Chapel, right between the fingers of God and Adam - which can represent the break of the connection between humanity and the divine. Is the elite's New World devoid of the touch of God? In another scene, St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, the “epicenter” of Catholic faith, is shown crashing down on faithfuls and killing thousands of people who assembled to pray.

In another scene, the famous Brazilian monument “Christ the Redeemer” is shown falling down in a matter similar to the way statues of Saddam Hussein fell after the Gulf War.

Other religions are also shown being destroyed during the movie. According to an article in The Guardian, 2012 was supposed to contain a scene depicting the destruction of the Kabaa, the holiest site of the Muslim faith. However, the scene was axed for fear of backlash from Islamic groups. The elite’s new world, is therefore not only devoid of Christianity, but of all major religions – one of the goals of the New World Order. 2012 does not only show the destruction of religious monuments, but also of political landmarks. These scenes symbolize the fall of regular nation states before the formation of a single world government.

The White House, symbol of US power, is shown being hit by one of its own war ships and taken away by a gigantic wave. In the elite's new world, it is not about National powers and military might: It is about a single world government and a single military. THE NOAHS ARK OF THE ELITE While most of the world’s population is getting killed by floods and earthquakes, the “chosen ones” are taken to China to embark in gigantic Arks. Entry to those Arks is far from fair and is reserved for those that are “one of them”. For example, the Indian

scientist that discovered the coming of the 2012 cataclysm is left to die, while the worlds wealthiest are granted access including royalty and wealthy billionaires.

Seeing how many people were left to die, the scientist Adrian Helmsley makes a unavoidable speech about how us humans must stick together and whatnot. However, we don’t see him giving up his place for anyone and everyone still dies … except for the elite. So, despite the moralizing monologues about caring for each other, the elite’s plan carries on right on schedule and only those that were chosen to survive do.

After the disaster, humanity enters a new era and resets its calendar to year 0001. The previous calendar was based on the birth of Jesus Christ - which is esoterically associated with the Age of Pisces. The resetting of the calendar signifies that Christ's era is over. It is the beginning of the Age of Aquarius.

Esoteric schools teach that a “Great Solar Year” is the period of time during which the sun cycles through all of the zodiacal constellations, lasting about 25,000 years. Every 2,000 years (more or less) the sun enters a new zodiacal constellation and humanity, somewhat unconsciously, adopts symbolism that relates to that zodiacal sign. For nearly the past 2,000 years the sun was in the constellation of Pisces (represented by Two Fishes), meaning that we are in the Piscean Age. Oddly enough, Christianity has always been represented by the symbol of a fish (i.e. the Jesus Fish). Every 2,000 years, the sun migrates to the previous sign of the zodiac, which means that the world is set to enter to Age of Aquarius. By showing the fall of Christian symbols and the emerging of a new world after a massive flood, the movie 2012 appears to be announcing the coming of the Aquarian Age. Since the symbol of the sign of Aquarius is a man pouring water and is methodologically associated with the legendary Great Flood, it is rather appropriate to depict the coming of the Aquarian Age with a flood that submerges New Atlantis, aka America. CONCLUSION While 2012 is often described as a big movie of explosions and special effects, the movie nevertheless contains a great deal of messages and symbolic moments. Its references to historical, Biblical, mythological and esoteric concepts give the movie a deeper meaning, one that fits with the world view of today’s occult elite.

While the world will probably not crash and burn on December 23rd 2012, the movie uses the scare relating to the Mayan Calendar to communicate its plans for the future: The fall of religions, dissolution of Nations and the glorification of a select elite on the backs of the clueless masses. Everything that happens in the movie is remarkably on-par with a period of great tribulation, destruction and oppression that is followed by the founding of a new world based on the elite’s principles. On a more esoteric level, the movie equates America with Atlantis, an advanced civilization that was destroyed by a great flood. The survivors of ancient Atlantis, who are said to be the originators of the occult lore of secret societies, went on to perpetuate their knowledge across the world. And while solar flares are said to be cause of the 2012 disaster, major floods are the cause of the Earth’s destruction. Through this symbolism, the movie appears to announce the end of the Age of Pisces and the coming of the Age of Aquarius. There is therefore much more to 2012 than originally meets the eye. Unfortunately, as it is often the case in mass media, the messages being communicated are neither enlightening nor inspiring. Quite the contrary, the movie basically tells the story of gigantic conspiracy against the public, complete with cover-ups and murders. In the end, the elite saves its self and leaves billions of people to die. To top it off, this conspiracy is presented as the only viable solution to such a crisis. Is the public being prepared for a major crisis that will be resolved with the heralding of a New World Order? As the movie’s promotional poster clearly states: “We Were Warned”.

ROLAND EMMERICH: THE MAN BEHIND 2012 The Movie “2012” was released in November 2009 and in doing so has intensified the debate regarding the year 2012 as being the year when a major ecological change will take place which will have significant ramifications for making. The movie producer is German born Roland Emmerich.

Ro land Emmer i ch (bo rn November 10, 1955) is a German film director, screenwriter, and producer who works mostly in the disaster and action genres. His films have grossed more than $2.7 billion worldwide, more than those of any European, born,

director. His films have grossed just over $1 billion in the United States, making him the country's 14th-highest grossing director of all time. He began his work in the film industry by directing the film The Noah's Ark Principle as part of his university thesis and also co-founded Centropolis Film Productions in 1985 with his sister. He is a collector of art and an active campaigner for the lesbian and gay community, with Emmerich himself being openly gay. He is also a campaigner for an awareness of global warming and equal rights. Emmerich has a significant history of producing movies which are related to apolcayptics. In 1994 he managed the science-fiction film Stargate. At the time, it set a record for the highest-grossing opening weekend for a film released in the month of October. It became more commercially successful than most film industry insiders had anticipated, and spawned a highly popular media franchise. Emmerich then directed Independence Day, an alien invasion feature, released in 1996, that became the first film to gross $100 million in less

than a week and went on to become one of the most financially successful films of all time, at one point having been the second-highest grossing film in terms of worldwide box office.

After teaming up with new screenwriting partner Harald Kloser, Emmerich returned once again to directing a visual effects-laden adventure with 2004's blockbuster The Day After Tomorrow, another disaster film about a rapidly oncoming Ice Age brought upon by the effects of global warming.

THE 2012 DEBATE With just over six months until December 21, 2012. there is increasing hysteria about 2012 and cult factions are continually in focus. Some of them have created their own special 2012 predictions. It really isn't all that surprising that a growing number of people have tried to research what is fact and what is just fiction about this mind boggling topic. A person could spend hundreds, even thousands of hours just trying to make some sense out of all the discussions and forums devoted to this entire 2012 thing. The more you hunt, the more confused you could become. The longer you try to separate the fact from fiction, the more information you uncover. In a nutshell, 2012 predictions and prophecies could literally drive you to distraction. THE 2012 DEBATE CONTINUES


THE NEW AGE MOVEMENT A New Age interpretation of this transition posits that, during this time, the planet and its inhabitants may undergo a positive physical or spiritual transformation, and that 2012 may mark the beginning of a new shift in human consciousness. Conversely, some believe that the 2012 date marks the beginning of an apocalypse. Both ideas have been disseminated in numerous books and TV documentaries, and have spread around the world through websites and discussion groups.

Many New Agers believe that the ending of this cycle will correspond to a global "consciousness shift". Established themes found in 2012 literature include "suspicion towards mainstream Western culture", the idea of spiritual evolution, and the possibility of leading the world into the New Age, by individual example or by a group's joined consciousness. The general intent of this literature is not to warn of impending doom but "to foster counter-cultural sympathies and eventually socio-political and 'spiritual' activism".

THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY The claims put forward by those predicting the end of the world in 2012 (alignment with a black hole, collision with a rogue planet, polar shifts) have been rejected as pseudoscience by the mainstream scientific community. Many of these claims according to the mainstream science community violate the laws of physics, or are contradicted by simple observations. Yet scientists have also announced that sunspot activity will reach a massive peak in 2012, resulting in severe solar storms and atmospheric changes. With this predicted sunspot expected to be up to 50 per cent stronger than previous ones, NASA has even began making preparations for the problems that await. But will these events make as big an impact on live as we know it as is suggested? Over the past few years the magnetic North pole has been drifting across Canada and is headed for Siberia. Also, the Earth’s magnetic field has weakened noticeably when compared to its strength when scientists began measuring it in 1845. Based on these findings, some scientists are now convinced that a reversal of the Earth’s magnetic poles is underway. They’re predicting that in 2012 the magnetic field will be at its weakest and a polar reversal could suddenly and dramatically take place with the North pole having the polarity of the South pole and vice versa. In 2012 the Sun will also experience a polar reversal producing radiation emissions at their strongest levels in 50 years. Although the Sun’s magnetic poles reverse every eleven years, in the memory of man the Earth has never experienced such an event. While no one can predict the outcome of this double shift, it could produce massive earthquakes and volcanic eruptions of a magnitude that could actually cause a measurable continental shift. A study by the National Academy of Sciences released in early 2009 indicated that a “solar storm” like this could also cause catastrophic damage to the power grid and other communications as well, knocking out satellites, phones, and computers. They confirmed that the 2012 event would be more

severe than others we’ve experienced in the past.

If this reversal caused the magnetic field around Earth to collapse, the effect would be even more severe. According to some projections, the electromagnetic energy released from the sun during a polar reversal could cause Earth’s upper atmosphere to “erupt in flames” if our magnetic field isn’t there to deflect it. PLANET X RETURN’S TO THE SOLAR SYSTEM The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water- the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter (Rev. 8:8-11). Many have tried to link the return of Planet X to the prophecies of Revelation which describe what seems to be a major object falling from the sky and causing significant ecological damage from its impact with the earth. Planet X has been the subject of much debate among scientists, both as to its actual existence and its name. Some refer to Planet X as Nibiru, a large planet listed in 5000 year old Sumerian tablets, but missing from the Solar system today. They link Nibiru as the domain of the Annunaki, a race of

extra-terrestrials they believe were involved in the creation of mankind. Others say it’s Rahab, the ancient seat of Satan, hinted at in Job 9:13 & 26:12, Psalm 87:4 & 89:10, and in Isaiah 30:7 & 51:9. Those who advocate for its existence say it’s been privately tracked by NASA since the 1980’s and both the New York Times and the Washington Post have speculated about its appearance in the sky. Documented naked eye sightings from the Southern Hemisphere are also claimed. The name Rahab appears in the Old Testament a total of 11 times. Five times it refers to the Rahab of Jericho who hid the 2 spies, was the mother of Boaz, and appears in the Lord’s genealogy. The other six times, listed above, it does not. Some believe these other references are to a planet that was once part of our Solar system and that Satan and his followers inhabited along with Earth and Mars. These people disagree as to whether it was originally our 5th or 6th planet, but supposedly these three planets were judged at the time of Satan’s rebellion in the gap between Genesis 1 :1 & 1:2 .

They also disagree as to whether it was completely destroyed leaving only the asteroid belt as a memorial, or was sent spinning out into the far reaches of the universe, or some combination of the two. Proponents of the partial destruction theory say that the remnant of the planet Rahab can now be seen again, and that God will use it to effect some of the judgments of Revelation. The idea of Satan’s Kingdom planet re-entering our solar system is a theory developed out of a study of combining the apocryphal Book of Enoch with the application of ELS (Equi-distant Letter Sequencing), commonly known as the Bible Codes. But if we’re as close to the end as I think we are, it won’t be long until we know whether the Rahab theories are truth or fiction. For what it’s worth, some believe Nostradamus predicted a comet/planet coming in 2012.

ZECHARIA STICHIN No researcher has done more to advance the idea of 2012 and Planet X than the late Zecharia Stichin.

According to the studies of Zecharia Sitchin, there is a 12th planet in our solar system (known to scientists as the possible 'Planet X'). This planet is called Nibiru, and is situated somewhere beyond Pluto. This planet, unlike the other planets in our solar system, has an elliptical orbit and moves clockwise rather than counterclockwise. It was a collision of Nibiru with another planet in our solar system (Maldek) which created Earth. Nibiru's orbit passes thorough our solar system only once every 3,600 years, which is equal to one Nibiru year. This controversial theory is based on Sitchin's interpretation of ancient Sumerian texts, Stichin believed that Planet X is inhabited by the Anunnaki (the Nephilim/giants in the Bible), "Those Who From Heaven To Earth Came". They landed on Earth, colonized it, mining the Earth for gold and other minerals, establishing a spaceport in what today is the Iraq-Iran area, and lived in a kind of idealistic society as a small colony. They returned when Earth was more populated and genetically interfered in our indigenous DNA to create a slave-race to work their mines, farms, and other enterprises in Sumeria, which was the so-called Cradle of Civilization in out-dated pre-1980s school history texts. They created Man, Homo Sapiens, through genetic manipulation with themselves and ape man Homo Erectus. In his book, The 12th Planet (1976), Stichins describes what is known as the Anunnaki which he believes are race of angelic extraterrestruaks who

came to earth and were involved in genetic engineering to fashion The Adam, Zecharia wrote: "Man is the product of evolution; but modern Man, Homo sapiens, is the product of the 'gods'. For, some time circa 300,000 years ago, the Nefilim took ape-man (Homo erectus) and implanted on him their own image and likeness." In The Earth Chronicles Time Chart (The Wars of Gods and Men, 1985) Zecharia wrote: “300,000 years ago: The Anunnaki toiling in the gold mines mutiny. Enki and Ninhursag create Primitive Workers through genetic manipulation... Homo sapiens begins to multiply." SPLIT OPINION: BIBLE PROPHECY TEACHERS The reaction to seeing the Bible being used by secular researchers to justify the 2012 belief has caused a split amongst the bible prophecy community. There are those who believe the 2012 factor is significant from a prophetical perspective. Mark Hitchcock, one of the most respected end time prophecy authors published a book called “2012 The Bible and the End of the World.”

Another notable author, Tom Horn published a books called “ Stargates” in which he believes something alarming has been happening since the dawn of time, which has been recorded in the history, holy books, and mythos of every great civilization. Ancient rabbinical authorities including Septuagint translators and early church fathers understood it. Sumerians, Assyrians, Egyptians, Greeks, the Hindus, the American Indians, and virtually all other civilizations wrote about it. Beings of super intelligence sometimes referred to as "gods" descend through openings of sky, earth, and sea to interact with this planet's creatures. According to Tom Horn, prophecy says they will return... and at a time much sooner than most people realize.

However other bible prophecy teachers are much more negative regarding the 2012 debate believing that this is evidence of an attempt to subvert the Bible to secular prophecies which will cause panic and restlessness within mankind. Reference is given to where Jesus in Matthew 24:3 tells his disciples “Then if anyone says to you, “Look , here is the Christ!” or “There!” do not believe it.” And some expand upon this to state that the warning would also apply not only to the coming of Christ but also the end of the world since the end of this world era as we know it is intrinsically linked to the Second Coming of Christ. Terry James another bible researcher states, There is strong biblical prescription against date settings, whether involving days, months, years, or even seasons. When talking about the time of His return to earth while He was still here in the flesh, Jesus said, “But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matt. 24:36). Jesus gave this warning to all people, urging them to be spiritually prepared for His sudden return, the time of which no human being or even angel in Heaven knows. “Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh” (Matt. 25:13). Other bible prophecy scholars have preferred to take a position of “sitting on the fence” by claiming that the 2012 scenarios could possibly comply with some of the prophecies in the book of Revelation and be used as means for God’s judgement against a sinful earth yet at the same time expressing caution that 2012 could be the year of the Second Coming of Christ. Cleary it would seem some bible prophecy scholars are still bearing the scars from 1999 with their books and predictions now discarded as pieces of literature with little value attached to them. SUMMARY A national poll several years ago found that 59 percent of all Americans are firmly convinced that

the final days for humanity will occur during their lifetimes. Such a mindset is fertile ground for the 2012 doomsday phenomenon that is now constantly bombarding us from everywhere - in group symposiums, lectures, workshops, magazine and newspaper articles, best-selling books, television specials, documentaries, movies, in the media news and across the Internet. However, one of the more critical issues that has yet to be addressed is what are the governments of world doing about 2012. Project Camelot interviewed a Norwegian diplomat who actually admitted that the Norwegian government were building underground bunkers due to be completed by the end of 2010 - 2011. The Norwegian government has also been storing food and seeds in the Svalbard area and in the arctic north in anticipation of Planet X. Again when we look at the Bible clearly there will be some significant ariel threat in the future “Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.” Revelation 8:8,10 However we need to remember the words of Jesus who says in Luke 21:25-27,

“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sae and the waves roaring; “men’s” hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. “Then when they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.”
