10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

イエスの弟子として生きるのは簡単ではない It’s not easy to live as Jesus’ disciple.

イエスは好きだけど、迫害は受けたくない。 I like Jesus, but I don’t want to be persecuted.

2テモテ/2Tim. 3:12

確かに、キリスト・イエスにあって敬虔に生きようと 願う者はみな、迫害を受けます。

In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

私たちがこの世の考えに合わせるようにと 信仰を抑圧するプレッシャーがある。 As Jesus’ disciple you experience repression to comform to the world.

ローマ/Rom. 12:2

この世と調子を合わせてはいけません。いや、むしろ、 神のみこころは何か、すなわち、何が良いことで、

神に受け入れられ、完全であるのかをわきまえ知るために、 心の一新によって自分を変えなさい。

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is―his good,

pleasing and perfect will.

①迫害は私をもっとイエスに似た者へと造り変えます。 Persecution will make me more like Jesus.

ヨハネ/John 3:19-20

光が世に来ているのに、人々は光よりもやみを愛した。 その行いが悪かったからである。20 悪いことをする者は 光を憎み、その行いが明るみに出されることを恐れて、

光のほうに来ない。 Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the

light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.

1ペテロ/1Pet. 4:14

もしキリストの名のために非難を受けるなら、あなたがたは幸いです。なぜなら、栄光の御霊、すなわち神の御霊が、 あなたがたの上にとどまってくださるからです。

If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

②迫害は私の信仰を深め強くします。 Persecution will deepen my faith.

1ペテロ/1pet. 1:7

あなたがたの信仰の試練は、火で精錬されつつ なお朽ちて行く金よりも尊く、イエス・キリストの現れの ときに称賛と光栄と栄誉になることがわかります。

These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith―of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire―may result in praise, glory and

honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

③迫害は、永遠の報いを私にもたらす。 Persecution will give me rewards in heaven.

of the throne of God.
