commandments and decrees, government rules and regulations,

social traditions and customs structured political doctrines seem

to be basically aimed at channelizing the vital force of an individual so as to meet its origin

viz. Truth or God!

This is nothing else but yoga!

The hathayoga and devotional practices are also aimed at this

particular goal of life.
