HousingCSM Bay Area’s housing is currently located near Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA. We utilize 2 churches during our busier weeks, First Presbyterian Church of Oakland and Re:Generation Church. FPCO is a 150 year old church, built in the style of a neo–Gothic cathedral. They share their building during the week with various non–profit organizations who are serving the poor, but are also heavily involved in outreach to the poor themselves respond to the changing needs of those in their neighborhood. Participants should expect to sleep on the floor and bring mats or air mattresses, if desired.
