Philippians 4:3-4

Yes, and I ask you, loyal yokefellow, help these women who have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life. Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

Philippians 4:5-6

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

Think REJOICE

We can always find something to not be HAPPY about, but likewise we can always find cause to REJOICE

Feelings are too often held HOSTAGE by what others do/don’t do.

One theme through Philippians is JOY/REJOICING.

“…No matter what anxiety circumstances cause, there is still a defiant ‘NEVERTHELESS’ in the Lord we rejoice” (Hanson)

The LORD is present with us; near in space.

God can STEP in at anytime; near in time.

The question we live with when in want is, “Is God ENOUGH?”

The bigger our VIEW of God the smaller our PROBLEMS become.
