CHRISTMAS MEANS GOD FULFILS HIS
PROMISES
Matthew 1:23 The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel –which means, "God with us.”
• Matthew 1:22
All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet.
A.THE LORD JESUS CAME TO FULFIL THE PROPHECIES AND
PROMISES OF GODMatthew 1:22
All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:
Matthew 1:23
The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel --which means, "God with us."
Isaiah 7:14
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
Note:
prophecies were fulfilled by the Lord Jesus
B.THE LORD JESUS’S BIRTH IS A PROOF THAT GOD’S PROMISES FOR YOU WILL BE FULFILLED
2Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the
"Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.
FIRST GREAT PROMISE:
The promise of strength in all your trials and endeavors especially in
doing God’s will
Philippians 4:13
(AMP) I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency].
• (KJV) I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
• (TPV) Ang lahat ng ito’y magagawa ko dahil sa lakas nakaloob sa akin ni Cristo.
• (NJB) There is nothing I cannot do in the One who strengthens me.
• (YLT) For all things I have strength, in Christ's strengthening me;
SECOND GREAT PROMISE: THE PROMISE OF HIS GRACE TO HAVE HIS POWER WHEN
WEAK
• 2Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
• (AMP) But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!
(MSG) and then he told me, My grace is enough; it's all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness. Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ's strength moving in on my weakness.
• (NKJV) And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

THIRD GREAT PROMISE: THE PROMISE OF ABRAHAMIC
BLESSINGS
• Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree."
• Galatians 3:14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
• Galatians 3:29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
C.WHAT TO DO TO SEE THE FULFILMENT OF GOD’S PROMISES
• 1.) HAVE AN UNWAVERING FAITH OVERCOMING ALL DOUBTS AND UNBELIEFS
•Romans 4:18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be."
• Romans 4:19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead--since he was about a hundred years old--and that Sarah's womb was also dead.
• Romans 4:20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,
• Romans 4:21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.
2.MENTION THE PROMISES IN YOUR DAILY DANIELPRAYERS
• Hebrews11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
3.BE FILLED , LED AND LIVE BY THE HOLY SPIRIT EVERYDAY
• Luke1:34
How will this be, Mary asked the angel, "since I am a virgin?“
Luke1:35
The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.
• Ephesians5:18
Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.
• (TAB) At huwag kayong magsipag lasing ng alak na kinaroroonan ng kaguluhan, kundi kayo'y mangapuspos ng Espiritu;
• Romans_8:14 because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
• Galatians 5:16 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
