his flock. They were the maleanimals that wereborn first totheir
mothers.Genesis 4:4 3. The Lord was pleasedwith Abel and his
offering.But He wasnt pleasedwith Cain and his offering.Genesis
4:4-5 4. Dont live any longer the way this world lives. Let your
way ofthinking be completely changed. Then you will be able to
testwhat God wants for you. Andyou will agree that what HEwants is
right. His planis good and pleasing and perfect.Romans 12:2 5. I
have received my full pay, andeven more than that. I have
everything I need. They are asweet-smelling offering. Theyare a
gift that God accepts. He is pleased with it.Philippians 4:18 6.
Dont forget to do good. Dont forget to share with others. God is
pleased with those kinds ofofferings.Hebrews 13:16 7. I will sing
to the Lord all my life.I will sing praise to my God aslong as I
live. May these thoughts of mineplease him.I find my joy in the

So Cain became very angry. His face was sad.Psalm 104:33-34 13. Why

angry, and selfish. They not only argue and causetrouble, but they
are envious. They get drunk, carry on at wild parties, and doother
evil things as well.Galatians 5:19-21 26. I told you before, and I
amtelling you again: No onewho does these things will enter into
the Kingdom of GodGalatians 5:19-21 27. Then the Lord said to
Cain,Why are you angry? Whyare you looking so sad? Do what is
right. Then you willbe accepted.Genesis 4:6-7 28. If you dont do
what is right, sin is waiting at your door to grab you. It longs to
haveyou. But you must rule over it.Genesis 4: 6-7 29. He comforts
us in all our troubles. Now we cancomfort others when theyare in
trouble. We ourselveshave received comfort fromGod. We share the

The Lord said, What haveyou done? Listen! Your brothers blood is

So I am putting a curse on you. I am driving you awayfrom the
ground. It hasopened its mouth to receive your brothers blood from
your hand.Genesis 4:10-15 37. When you work the ground,it will not
produce its crops for you anymore. You will be a restless person
who wanders around on the earth.Genesis 4:10-15 38. Cain said to
the Lord, Youare punishing me more than I can take. Today you are
driving me away from theland.Genesis 4:10-15 39. I will be hidden
from you. Ill be a restless person who wanders around on theearth.
Anyone who finds mewill kill me.Genesis 4:10-15 40. But the Lord
said to him,No. Anyone who kills you will be paid back seventimes.
The Lord put a markon Cain. Then anyonewho found him wouldnt kill
him.Genesis 4:10-15 41. Give praise to the God and Father of our
Lord JesusChrist! He is the Father who gives tender love. All
comfort comes from him.2 Corinthians 1:3-5 42. He comforts us in
all our troubles. Now we cancomfort others when theyare in trouble.
