The Life of Abraham

One of the hardest things to describe is

something that is medium.

So far. . .• Following God means embracing

uncertainty.• Even though you don’t know the

whole route, you usually know what the next step is.

So Abram went up from Egypt to the Negev, with

his wife and everything he had, and Lot

went with him.

From the Negev he went from place to place until he came to Bethel, to the place between Bethel and Ai where his tent had been earlier

and where he had first built an

easier• Wealth could enable you to be a

blessing to others• Wealth could help with ministry• Wealth could help with missions

Dangers of wealth• It promises happiness and does

not deliver• It can be addicting• It could tempt you to

dishonesty• It can make you greedy• It can become your God

Is your view of money

medium?

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the
