GOD’S POWER TO RESTORE
Nehemiah
NEHEMIAH’S PRAYERS
• 1:4-11 (Heard about Jerusalem’s despair)
• Help me speak to King Artaxerxes about Jerusalem’s
situation
• 4:4 (Sanballat and Tobiah mocked the restoration project)
• Let Sanballat and Tobiah’s reproach be on their own
heads
• 5:19 (Nehemiah refused to tax the people)
• Remember my financial struggle when I took care of
others
• 6:9 (Sanballat plots against Nehemiah)
• Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands
NEHEMIAH’S PRAYERS
• 6:14 (They tried to trick Nehemiah into doing something
sinful)
• Remember those who plot against me
• 13:14 (Levites and the Temple were being neglected)
• Do not whip out my good deeds, my hard work
• 13:22 (People were working on the Sabbath)
• Spare me according to the greatness of Your mercy
• 13:29 (Men were taking Pagan wives)
• Remember those men
• 13:31 (The end of Nehemiah’s book)
• Remember me
PRAYING FOR THE LORD TO RESTORE

• Help me speak to others to solve the problem.
• 4:4 (When people mock my hard work)
• Let their reproach be on their own heads
• 5:19 (When I am financially struggling)
• Help me to continue to take care of others and
give
• 6:9 (When my peers plot against me)
• Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands!
PRAYING FOR THE LORD TO RESTORE
• 6:14 (When others try to maliciously cause me to sin)
• Deliver me from the evil one
• 13:14 (After I solve a issue)
• Do not whip out my good deeds, my hard work
• 13:22 (When I rebuke my brothers and sisters)
• Spare me according to the greatness of Your mercy
• 13:29 (When the younger generation refuses guidance)
• Remember those men
• 13:31 (At the end of my life)
• Remember me, O my God, for good!
