DESCRIPTION

Ever wondered how the various biblical metaphors relate to one another? It's easy to emphasize one biblical theme at the expense of others. We need balance. But this requires us understanding how they work together. This presentation especially considers the relationship between law and other themes, like honor and shame. Traditional theology emphasizes law. Although law is an important idea, might our theologies become enslaved to the "law" metaphor? We must be careful not to compromise the gospel by settling for the truth.
