little water; Water symbolizes baptism; Wine & Water = Mystical relationship of Christ with his

Church; Wine & Water = The union of the divine and human nature in

one Person, the incarnate Son of God; Symbolism or NOT? NOT = At the Last Supper Jesus consecrated wine mixed with

water; Palestinian Jews added water to their wine at all their meals; This was the usage of the early Church;

Pouring of wine and water: Justin, Irenaeus, Clement of Alexandria …they all talk

about this; All Eastern Liturgies tell of Christ mixing water with

wine; We cannot deviate from what was practice

established by Christ;
