RESPONDING TO GOD’S

GRACE

Introduction

God has the power to do anything He

wants. He uses His power to show us

GRACE.

The love of God is not to raise our self-esteem, but to save us from SELF-centeredness so we can glorify Him.

What is Grace?

“Grace is nothing

more or less than the

face LOVE wears

when it meets

imperfection,

weakness, failure,

and SIN.”

It is the quality of

God that causes

Him not to deal

with us as we

DESERVE due to our

sins.

God’s grace is

given

to all who will

TRUST Him.

How do we respond to

God’s grace?

A. FAITH.

(James 2:18-19)

FAITH in GOD

FAITH in JESUS

FAITH is a

DECISION

to believe what

God says and

promises.

FAITH is a GIFT of

God to enable us to

hear and believe

His self-revelation

as TRUE.

FAITH enables us to

put God FIRST,

love OTHERS, and

OBEY His commands.

B. WORSHIP

(Romans 15:8-9)

WORSHIP is

giving God what

he alone

DESERVES.

WORSHIP

deepens our

LOVE for God.

We were made

to praise and

WORSHIP God

WORSHIP is a

way of

LIFE/living.

WORSHIP

must be

SINCERE.

C. LOVE

(1 John 3:16-19)

Love God for

HIMSELF.

Love God because

He FIRST loved us.

(1 Jn. 4:19)

Show horizontal

GRACE.

Be Forgiving.

D. Live a New

Life.

(Titus 2:12)
