Remember What Worship Is?

The main Hebrew word:

•Shacah – to bow down in obedient reverence

The main Greek Word:

•Proskuneo – to bow down and kiss the hand ofThe Old English:

•Derived from the word worth-ship.

•Meaning to denote worthiness to the one receiving the honor or devotion.

Remember God’s Word on Authority

One God and one guide. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Authority is vital:

•“not beyond the things that are written.” (1 Corinthians 4:6)

•Abide in the doctrine of Christ. (2 John 9)

•Spirit and truth (John 4:24)

•Do not transgress. (1 John 3:4)

What is Prayer?

For Christians prayer is like breathing.

Does God Hear Everyone?

Will God hear a righteous, God-fearing, searching person?

Who will God hear?

•The prayers of the righteous. (James 5:16; 1 Peter 3:12)

•Those who are obedient to His will. (1 John 3:22)

•God hears those who abide in Christ. (John 15:7)

•God hears those who repent. (Acts 8:22)

Does God Answer Prayer?

Will God say “Yes? No? Maybe?”

How do you deal with “unanswered prayers?”
