Paul served God with all his might, and God was the only witness he needed.

Paul prayedprayed for Christians everywhere, including those at Rome.

To desire anythinganything outside the Will of God, is to desire sinis to desire sin..

Never give those who hate Godhate God opportunity to be justifiedjustified in their evil speaking.

Walk right, talk right, do right, live right,

according to everyevery Word of God.

Paul wanted to have a prosperous journeyprosperous journey to come to the saints at Rome.

Prosperous = successful

Paul wasn't in the business of making money.

For Paul, a successful journeysuccessful journey meant an opportunity to advanceadvance the Kingdom of God.

And at the endend of the journey, ministerminister to the saints at

Rome.

We want to have a successful churchsuccessful church;

WhatWhat does that mean?

It is notnot successful.

You can have a megachurchmegachurch with

thousands of members,

But unless God is changing liveschanging lives, it's not a

successful church.

If the people love Godlove God and love one anotherone another,

If lives are changedlives are changed by the Power of God,

If familiesfamilies are held together, menmen are men of God, and their wiveswives are their helps,

JesusJesus is Savior and Lord, and worshipped,

We show our loveshow our love one for another, by not onlynot only, prayingpraying for each other,

But by giving thanksgiving thanks one for another.

He thanked the Lord for the faith of the Roman Christians.

As we look at one another, we eachwe each have some traitssome traits worthy of praise:

Spend timetime every day, lookinglooking for these traits and giving God thanksgiving God thanks for each one.
